Bill Goodacre, Founder of Goodacre & Company, LLC

Bill Goodacre was 18 when he arrived in Colorado from Canada on a hockey scholarship. He graduated from Colorado College with a degree in Business and Banking. For 12 years after college Bill worked in the Lubbock, Texas real estate industry.  In 1974 Bill returned to Colorado to manager Sussex Realty in Boulder. A short time later, Bill founded the previous Goodacre & Company.

Bill, with his son Tim Goodacre  have fulfilled their goal of growing Goodacre & Company into a competitive real estate business and are now excited to be under the luxury brokerage milehimodern.

In Bill’s 40 years of Boulder County real estate sales he has listed, sold and memorized almost every property in Boulder. Bill is respected by his clients and colleagues and considered a valuable source for real estate information. He is well known throughout the Colorado Front Range as an honest, generous, family oriented man who gets the job done!  Bill is also a passionate hockey participant, playing 3 to 4 times a week and a credible auto enthusiast!

As a General Partner in the purchase and development of 130,000 sq. ft shopping center at 84th and Huron, Denver, Bill is also a development manager with an extensive knowledge base of Colorado real estate.  Some of Bill’s past real estate ventures include:

  • The purchase and development of a 149-unit apartment project, South Park Apartments, 47th & South Boulder Road, Boulder.
  • Establishment of a partnership to purchase and develop a mixed-use project: 55,000 sq. ft. shopping center, Willow Springs, Iris & 28th, Boulder; 175 attached homes and condominiums
  • Development of Mountain View Subdivision, Longmont: 35 single family lots.
  • Developed apartment complex: Peppertree Apartments, Manhattan & Baseline, and Boulder. Sold as condominiums: 2,530,000.00
